The following steps will guide you through deleting and deactivating a user on your account.
Deleting a user
Click the Toolbox menu and click Users:
Click the 3 dots next to the user you would like to delete, and click Delete User:
A confirmation box will appear. Click Delete if you would like to proceed:
Deleting a user cannot be undone.
NOTE: Deleting a user will also delete all of the following that the user created:
Caller ID requests
Cover pages
Tags
Drive file share
Contacts and contact groups
Custom field values
API keys
Shortened URLs
Zapier integrations
Slack configurations
Product requests
Deactivating a user
Deactivating a user allows their information to remain in the system, but they aren't able to sign into the portal or use Documo tools outside of the portal.
NOTE: If an active API key is assigned to that user, the user cannot be deactivated.
To deactivate a user, first click User Profile in the kebab menu of that user:
Next, click Deactivate, then confirm deactivation:
A deactivated icon will display for that user on the user's page:
To reactivate, click User Profile, then click Reactivate and confirm reactivation:
NOTE: Billing for that user will be paused while they are deactivated. Tags and contacts that the user created will remain active on the account while they are deactivated.
