The following video is a walk through of the iOS app:
Sending a fax
After logging in, you will initially see the 'send fax' page. Here, you can conveniently send a fax with attachments already on your device or use your device's camera to scan the document:
After scanning and saving an image, it will automatically change to grayscale. This is optimized for faxing.
This feature conveniently eliminates the need for a fax machine! A quality scan is just a quick button press away! For more information about this option, click here. (link)
After scanning your document, you have the option to either retake it or click 'done'. If needed, you can scan additional documents. You can also edit and crop the scanned document using the options at the bottom of the screen:
Once you click 'done' and then 'save', your attachment will populate on the send fax page:
To rearrange the order of the documents, long hold on the 3 dots next to the document and drag them to the correct order:
The tab labeled 'My fax numbers' displays the numbers your user is assigned to:
Documents
In the documents tab, you can scan pages and save them. If mDrive is enabled on your account, the documents will be saved there. Otherwise, they will be stored in a secure folder on your device that cannot be accessed outside of the app:
Swiping left on the document and clicking on the airplane icon will allow you to send the document as a fax:
Contacts
By clicking on the 'Contacts' tab, you can access, edit, and create new contacts. These contacts can be used as recipients when sending faxes from your 'Send Fax' page:
Contact groups are contacts and organizations that can be grouped together for the ease of sending a fax to multiple recipients at once.
History
Your history will display inbound faxes to all numbers assigned to you, and any outbound faxes you have sent:
Clicking the 3 dots next to a fax will display information on that fax:
To filter your history, click the filter icon. Then, select the filters you want to apply and click 'filter':
We are currently working on inbound faxes automatically printing when they arrive. Stay tuned for updates!
To manually print a fax, click the 3 dots next to the fax, then click 'Show full information'. Scroll down, then click 'Print':
Settings
To access your settings, click your initials on the top right corner of any tab. Then, click the option you would like:
Configuring Printer Settings
You can print faxes on any AirPrint supported printer. Click your initials on the top right part of your screen from any tab:
Click 'Printer Settings':
Lastly, choose the default printer that you would like to print faxes to. You can only select printers that have AirPrint capabilities.
Anytime you print a fax, this is the printer it will print to unless changed.
Stay tuned for updates on auto-printing inbound faxes. Coming soon!
