Auto-Split uses intelligent analysis of document type, patient identifiers, formatting, and overall structure to automatically detect where one document ends and another begins. Auto-Split can automatically determine which pages belong together and which should be processed separately.
First, navigate to Workspaces and click into a Workspace.
Next, to auto split a document, click the kebab menu, then click Split:
To have auto split run on your document, click Auto-Split:
After the engine has run, all your document sets will be grouped together. Clicking through the document sets allows you to see which pages will be turned into a document for further processing. Then click Finish and Create Documents. The original document will remain in the workspace, and new documents will be created from each set and added to their designated workspaces:
If a split document belongs in a different workspace, select the new workspace in the document set:
Click Clear to reset the split and return to the original combined document:
To manually split documents, select the pages you would like included in each document set. click Add More to create additional sets and assign pages accordingly:
