Faxing to a total of 10 recipients or less is a standard feature included in all plans and can be done simply by adding numbers to fax from the send fax screen.
Users wanting to send a fax to up to 1,000 recipients at a time can use our Fax Blast option.
The default setting for the Fax Blast feature is disabled for all accounts. Please contact a Documo team member if you would like to enable the Fax Blast feature on your account.
NOTE: In order to use Dynamic Fax Blast, Drive must be enabled on your account because attachments must be uploaded to Drive before they can be used for Dynamic Fax Blast.
After enabling the Fax Blast feature you will be able to access from the main Send Fax screen in the web application.
Fax Blast
First, click the down arrow on the Fax Blast card. The Fax Blast option allows you to send the same document to up to 1,000 recipients. The Dynamic Fax Blast option allows you to send different attachments to up to 1,000 recipients at a time.
Send a fax to a recipient list simply consisting of a CSV with recipient numbers. You can also choose to include a cover page:
Next, upload your CSV. An example CSV is available for download:
Lastly, upload your attachment(s):
Once these have been added simply click the send button and Fax will take care of the rest.
All faxes will populate to your history screen and you'll be able to view the status of each as they come in.
Dynamic Fax Blast
Select Dynamic Fax Blast, then click Next:
Next, select if you would like to include a cover page. This also shows which columns are required, and which are optional:
Lastly, download an example CSV, edit the fields, and upload the recipient list.
NOTE: The documents that are included in your spreadsheet must first be uploaded to Drive. The name of the document in the spreadsheet must match the name of the file in Drive.
