This article will teach you how to create a limit plan, and what each field is used for. Then, it'll show you how to assign a plan to your subaccount.
Let's start by navigating to the plans tab on the left, then clicking the 'create limit plan' button.
The pop up page will have several fields for you to fill out. Below, you will find definitions of how each field is used.
Product-choose whether you're creating a plan for mFax or mSign
Plan Name-name your plan; you'll choose this plan name when assigning it to a subaccount
Description-a description of your plan
Notifications Emails-add email addresses to receive notifications when accounts on this plan have reached their limits
Numbers Limit-how many numbers you want to allow this account to have. If you toggle on 'strict limit', no numbers will be allowed to be added once this number is met. If you toggle on 'notify me when limits are met', a notification email will be sent to email addresses in the 'notifications emails' field.
Spread Usage Toggle-if toggled on, this will give limits for inbound and outbound pages. Soft limits send a notification email when page limits have been met, but allow users on the account to continue sending/receiving faxes. Hard limits do not allow users to send faxes any longer once this number of pages has been met. You're unable to set a hard limit for inbound faxes since we cannot control who sends faxes to your number. When adding amounts to these fields, add the number of pages you would like for each field, or leave it blank if you do not want limits.
Users Limit-the account will no longer be able to add users once this limit has been met if 'strict limit' has been toggled on. 'Notify when limits are exceeded' will send a notification when this number has been met.
When you've filled out all the fields, click save.
Once you have created the limit plan, then you'll want to assign it to a subaccount. Click the three dots next to the account you would like to set a plan for, then click 'settings'. From here, you'll click the 'limits' tab, then click the drop down and select the plan that you created.
Note: Limit plans can only be created and managed from the main account. An admin/owner can have an account suspension scheduled for a specific date or time, or do it immediately. Users will not be able to login when the suspension is in effect, but instead it will prompt users to contact an administrator.
